Elanus | Glider Paper Airplane Design Statistics and Throwing Angles
Elanus

Elanus has the most beautiful flight pattern of any paper airplane I’ve seen. This plane glides so gently over such a distance, that I’m not sure I’ll ever design a plane to best it. The fuselage of the paper airplane locks both in the front and in the back, leading to an exceptionally aerodynamic profile, especially for a plane with so much wing area. That combination allows Elanus to glide gracefully for over 90 feet, a range that is absurd for a glider this size. It’s an advanced fold due to a few tricky steps, but I’m betting you can fold it and that you’ll be thankful you did!
